Instructors
The launch sessions are taught by the person building the property. Specialists are added session by session, and listed here only once they're booked.
Matt Vorst
Owner of the property and lead instructor for Power, Water, and Shelter.
Matt is building out 38 acres on the Waiska River from raw land: the power, the water, the buildings, the orchard, and the permits behind all of them. The sessions teach that work as it is being done, on the systems as they are installed, including the parts that went wrong the first time. The running record is the Build Log.
Specialists
Some sessions on the roadmap will not run without a specialist: timber work needs a second qualified instructor, and food preservation is taught with a licensed food-safety instructor. When a specialist is booked for a session, they are listed here with their credentials and the sessions they lead. Until someone is booked, nobody is listed.
