The current arrangements
Participation information
The first Cincinnati family projects are being organized. Here is what participation currently means.
Updated October 15, 2026.
Interest and attendance
The family interest page is for expressing interest in the program. It is not a booking and does not reserve a place or take payment.
The initial group is approximately six families with children in first through fourth grade. Participation arrangements and the actual headcount are still being confirmed.
Parents participate
A parent attends with their children and actively takes part in each class. Everyone has defined tasks in the activity, setup, and cleanup. Parents remain responsible for supervising their children and following the event leader’s instructions.
Dates and costs
Rocket building is planned for October 24, 2026, and fire building for November 7, 2026. The December 5 launch date is tentative. The ski trip is planned for late December 2026 or early January 2027, with its date to be set.
Start times, durations, event costs, and any family contributions have not been announced. No payment, cancellation, or refund terms have been adopted here. Check the dates page and cost information for the current status before making arrangements.
Event details
Exact private addresses, arrival instructions, supplies, and any event-specific participation requirements are shared with participating families as arrangements are confirmed. Outdoor plans depend on suitable conditions.
See how projects work and the participation notes for more about shared responsibilities.
