Terms, cancellation, and refunds
The commercial terms for booking a Field Day or an Axe Week. Booking is not open yet; these are the terms that will apply when it is.

Booking and payment
- A 30% deposit is due at booking. The balance is due 60 days before the session starts.
- Bookings made fewer than 60 days before a session are paid in full.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- A signed participant agreement is required before arrival. A booking without one is not complete.
If you cancel

If we cancel
- Weather. Sessions run rain or shine. A session is canceled only for lightning, unsafe wind, or a fire ban that affects the curriculum. In that case it is rescheduled or fully refunded, your choice.
- Minimums. An Axe Week needs 6 participants to run and a Field Day needs 8. A session that doesn’t meet its minimum is canceled 30 days out with a full refund.
- We are not responsible for travel or lodging costs you have incurred. Book refundable rooms.
Rates
- The partner rate applies to a second person from the same household attending the same Axe Week, with shared lodging.
- Returning participants receive 10% off tuition.
- Discounts don’t combine.
Eligibility and conduct
Participants must be 18 or over. We may remove anyone who works unsafely, ignores instruction, or is impaired on site. There is no refund for removal.
